You Dark Intentions

Just another poem. Tehe. :)

What are your intetions?

Are they to bring me down?

Are you going to tie me down, and leave me to die?
Or are you simply trying to torture my mind?

 

Well, I'm sorry my old friend,

Your intentions wont get you anywhere.

I've known you for too long,

And I've learned who you are.

 

You cannot strike fear into my eyes,

Nor can you keep me in one room.

With how my mind works,

Slowly, you will slip into insanity.

 

You will not be able to handle who I am.

 

I'm unbreakable,

And you should know that by now.

Your dark intentions willeat you alive,

Because you already know they will not succeed.

 

So Why continue?

 

I stand in free spirit,

And I stand in the presence of god.

My faith is too strong,

Any thing you do, I can get through.

 

Throw me into a dark forest,

I will find the light.

Kick me off a boat into a deep blue ocean,

I will swim to shore.

 

Your dark intentions,

Your little lies and schemes,

They are no match for me,

Because I am strong.

 

I live life like it's a game,

I keep playing until I succeed.

If I fall down,

I get back up.

 

Tell me this one thing,

Have you ever understood the meaning of life?

Did it ever cross your mind that your dark intentions,

Were nothing but crude fantasies?

 

Do what you will,

Try to bring me down.

Author's Note

Yeah, so.. this is just another one of those poems that basically suggest that you can do anything to me, but I'm stronger than that person at heart; I know I will always make it through. In the end, when their intentions fail, it will slip them into insanity because no matter what they did, I stayed pure at heart.

"I Dare You", I smile because I see you are enjoying playing with matches. I believe the true test of faith is when is stripped of everything and is nude before the world powerless and completely vulnerable like a lamb slipping in the mist of lions. Still this is a great write, one of strength and assurance while standing under the light.
