Opening My Eyes Again

Opening My Eyes Again

A Poem by Charles R. Ciminokii
"

Me coming back to a place of inspiration and endless possibilities...

"

I'm back to a place
with overruling creativity
where my mind is again free
and there is nothing to slue me

Thoughts occur wildly
my mind is no longer old
I can see what's around me
and my mind is out of control

Everything around me
shines light to my eye
And I can vividly express
well beyond that fine line

The world now has colors
with bold, contrasting lights
The muse dances happily
between me and my mind

The possibilities are endless
and limitations have no hold
I feel free to speak loudly
with the truth to be told

My happy place
so wonderful and vast
I have finally returned to you
now I can see freely at last

Through the beautiful colors
of this stained glass...

the only 'constructive' criticism i can give you is stanza 3, first line, consider shortening it, so i flows with the rest of the piece. but overall i love this poem. so many of us live life with our eyes closed. the things we could see if we actually ever opened them. i loved the 4th & 5th stanzas of this poem. a beautifully written poem with a great message of hope & inspiration hidden within.
