Dancing, always dancing like a monkey
I am here in the moment things feel great
then shoot it down like a little play toy
crashing down the joy I falsely built for you
Dancing, just dancing again with my cymbals
this time not for you, but for me
in hopes that I will catch your attention
crashing, not the percussion but my chance of luck
My dancing gets old, now I feel how you felt
the ignorance in my feet kick at their selves
I thought for myself and not for you
I just wish all my life to see that feeling you felt
Just one more time, that's all I care
chance at that kiss, shot to my heart
That feeling that I didn't feel
but it's now all I want
Sit on my lap once more
Give me a hug that means
the fun we use to have
a condition truly free
Make this come true and we will really be happy
trust me to make this come true
I no longer want to be here for your entertainment
all I want is you, and for us to have something that we meant...
It does indeed have emotion and shows it in every stanza. There are so many feelings wrapped up in your words.. and the end is wonderful
You've created some great lines: ' Dancing, just dancing again with my cymbals / this time not for you, but for me / in hopes that I will catch your attention / crashing, not the percussion but my chance of luck' AND
'I no longer want to be here for your entertainment / all I want is you, and for us to have something that we meant...' certainly emotion there, very certainly

to me this write sort of conveys a certain depth of what some people take advantage of and when they see the light and want what they eventually lost
this does have emotion - and i think this is from a mans perspective
i realized this when the character was begging their lover to be back in his arms
it was a refreshing write anyway

Who am I? Well thats a story within its self to be honest with you. Who I am isn't truly as important as to what I want to do, correct? I am an aspiring renaissance man in which I am not just a writer.. more..
