After So Long

She Left me,

Oh so long ago;

I've been her friend since then,

 but there's one thing I know.

 

It's been so long,

since I held her against me,

I miss the smell of her hair,

and I can't let things be.

 

I want to hold her, kiss her,

tell her that I love her,

she deserves better than him,

but yet they've gone further.

 

But if she wanted me back,

I would have to start over,

I have helf onto the weathered love,

that I no logner have for her.

 

It's not love,

But it's more than friendship;

I can only make her happy,

when it seems to love, I have a tip.

 

It's going to hurt alot,

you might even give up,

but to love and hurt,

is better than not loving at all.

I like the last 2 lines. It reminds me that there are worse things you can do to people than love them, because love always hurts. good job on this poem :)
