cocoon

A Poem by Circe

entwined limbs
tangled hair
trauma wrapped around my
heart
melted
with the uneven skipping
of two sore beats,
there is no safer
place
for you
than between
my
aching
arms.

Someone is very lucky for you to have written these words for them
and I consider myself lucky to have read them.

I am as always quite literally
a literary fan.

this is beautiful, absolutely...there is warmth, comfort and safety within the arms of this poem.

'the meek shall inheret the earth'
