crystalline jealousy

working against me 

fragmenting possibilities 

shading memories 

from gray to black 

from white to red 

working against me 

dread in the head 

endless choices 

alive and dead 

endless sources 

drama or rumors 

spread with malice 

and a slight form of 

content 

alive or dead 

try again 

high again 

to shade the memories 

from green to gray 

color the lovers 

straight to gay 

to exceed the hurt 

and limits of time 

and space 

prayers prayed 

and answered

on another day 

between the black 

the white 

the red 

the gray 

the green shades....
