Everday

A poem about being ignored by your supposed "friends". I did not write this. My best friend did. And she wrote it before meeting me!

Everyday I see them, but they dont see me.

Everyday i ask myself "have i talked to them today?", but they dont even think of me. 

Everyday i see them laugh and talk standing next to me, but they never include me in a conversation. 

Everyday i wonder if its going to be like this for the rest of high school. 

Me standing there next to my "friends", while all they see is a shadow. 

Everyday i wonder if today is the day they will invite me to something or if they want to hang out with me.

Everyday i hear them talk about their plans when they tell me they are "busy".

Everyday i wish i could speak up, telling them how they make me feel.

But everyday i just stand there and watch it go by, standing there like a shadow.

A poem my friend wrote...She doesn't have a writers cafe account so im putting it up. I take no credit for this poem!! It was all my friend, she wrote this at the beginning of the year, before we met, when she hung out with some other girls in our class.
