Simple poem inspired by the sights outside my window.

Short and accurate! Such are the wonders of snow. And haven't you guys had a hell of a snow season!? Those snowstorms have been plastered all over our news downunder.

The simplicity of the acrostic is suited to the words used. A perfect style to ease back into the poetic writing frame of mind.

Oh, yes. We have mountains of snow. It's very inconvenient, not to mention messy, but there is beauty in the snow-covered trees and massive snowbanks. Thanks for reading, Doodley.

I remember when I was younger and there was always alot of snow. Now, a few years later we rarely get snow before christmas. I live in Wisconsin and today it was in the 40s!

It was much the same here, in Minnesota. Christmas was hardly white at all, but in the days since, we've gotten about two feet of snow. Tis the season, to be sure.

I go to minnesota every year for thanksgiving and there used to be tons of snow by that time, but I haven't seen snow in minnesota since I was 13. No complaints, though. Snow is too slippery and cold.

I lived next to Fargo, in Moorhead, for college, but I've lived in Minnesota my whole life. I couldn't imagine living without snow. Thank you for reading, and happy New Year to you as well!

Many people share your hatred of snow. Myself, I like it more in theory than in practice. I enjoy fantasizing about winter-time merriment, but when the cold stuff is actually upon us, I do little to take advantage of it, spending my time instead by complaining about the cold. Snow sure is pretty, at least. Thanks for reading!

I was never fortune with snow from my window view by far...but who can stop the horse of imagination!
