Permanently Erased

Permanently Erased

A Poem by CoconutSprinkles08
"

A poem about losing someone you were in love with...

"
A hole inside me.
I can't let go.
In my mind
I hold on...
Heavenly sweet voice...
Stars shined brighter
When You smiled...
I cry in deep denial...
Your eyes burned with passion,
A lighter's fire...
You became my heart's single desire
As I cried holding onto
The telephone wire.
Now,
 My days are spent
Trying to live
Now that
You're absent,
Moving on...
Too hard,
Too long.
I can't be the same again...
My best friend,
In the end
I never knew Your love.
I know,
The longer I want You
The more damage it will do...
No matter what I go through
I'll know one thing:
I can't let go of You.
You were:
 A stolen angel,
Color in the wings of butterflies,
Crescent moon of midnight skies,
Reason people believe in God,
One who saw it all,
Smile on my face;
Permanently erased.
I can't let go of you;
You...
Only thing I really knew.
Inside of you,
So much more...
I still look for You
At the door.

Author's Note

CoconutSprinkles08
I don't really remember why I wrote this poem, because I wrote it over a year ago(Except for a little editing I just did). I think it might have been out of fear of losing someone I loved...So, I guess it is what it is.
