1.

Barry Adams closed his eyes and buried his face into the pit of his elbow and let out a loud caught. He placed his fingers over his throat and rubbed it gently before placing his face back into the pit of his elbow and coughing again. Barry looked up from his elbow and looked around at the other people in first class of the American Airlines flight 110 looking back at him with both concern and disgust.

“Would you like a glass of water honey?” a flight attendant asked as she bent over and looked him in the eye. She was wearing a white bottomed up blouse along with a blue blazer and a navy blue skirt. There was a golden American Airlines nametag just over her right breast that read HILLARY on it. The woman’s eyes were brown as was her skin and hair that had been styled in a perm. Barry coughed again.

“Yes! Thank you!” Barry managed to utter before the urge to catch overwhelmed him again. The flight attendant smiled and poured him a glass of ice water from a glass picture. She handed it over to him and he took a sip of it. He closed his eyes for a moment as the water slid painfully down his sore throat. Barry opened his eyes back up and looked at the flight attendant.

“Is there anything else I can get you sugar?” She asked. Barry smiled and shook his head.

“No! Thanks Hillary!” He said with a flirting tone. She smiled and then turned to walk away. Barry moved his head around the seat in front of him and watched her swing her hips as she walked away. He took yet another drink of and placed the glass of the table into the cup holder attached onto the seat in front of him. Barry paused for a moment and closed his eyes again. It hurt him to swallow. He opened his eyes back up and placed his right index finger back on his throat. He could feel something tickling it from the back. Barry buried his face back into his elbow and started to catch again.

“Excuse me young man! Can you please go somewhere else and do that? Some of us are trying to enjoy our rides! Have you ever considered laying off the cigarettes?” The old woman that was sitting in the seat across from him said with a snotty tone as she leaned in close to him and tapped him on the shoulder.

“Sorry!” Barry uttered as he stood up from the seat and stepped into the isle and walked back to the bathroom towards the rear of the plane.

2.

Barry walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind him. He locked it and then looked at himself in the mirror. His brown colored hair was a mess and there was a river of yellow green mucus pouring from his nose. Barry buried his face back into the joint of his elbow and coughed again. He pulled away for a moment and saw a splash of blood on his arm. Barry reached over to his right and grabbed brown paper towel and wiped the blood off.

“What the hell’s happening to me?” He asked himself as he leaned forward and stared into the mirror. Beads of sweat were pouring down his face and there were several bags under his eyes as if he hadn’t slept for weeks and were rubbed raw.

‘Cancer?’ He thought at first. But it couldn’t be that. He had just had a physical the week prior and cancer didn’t really run in his family. So he dismissed it. Barry turned on the faucet and cupped his hands with water before he slapped the water on his face and then quickly dried it off with the paper towel. He looked in the mirror again and noticed that the redness in his eyes had reduced and he didn’t look as rough as before. Barry let out one last caught before exiting the bathroom and walking back into first class.

3.

The moment that Barry exited the bathroom, he noticed that something was horribly wrong. The sour smell of rotting flesh lingered in the air and throughout the plane. Barry covered his nose with his mouth and looked around. He could see the tops of people’s heads that were on the plane in front of him. Barry slowly began walking back down the isle. He looked to his left at the first row of people. It was an elderly and his wife sitting in the seats. The man’s head was resting on the window while the woman’s was leaning over in the isle.

There was a large hole in the man’s throat the size of a soft ball as if something had scratched and clawed its way out. The woman had strange stretch marks around her lips and her mouth had been widened as if she had given birth out of it. Barry looked around at the other people on the plane. Fir the most part they hall had the same results. Most of them had the same type of stretch marks around their mouth and a few of them had holes in their throat. As he walked closer to the captain’s quarters, the smell blood and rotting flesh increased. The man in the front seat closer to the ails was sitting there with a giant hole in his chest that looked about a foot wide and a foot down in length.

“What the hell could have done all of this?” He asked himself as he looked back at all of the dead passengers and then turned around to enter the captain’s quarters.

“Hello?” He asked hoping that the pilot would answer as she slowly walked towards the pilot’s chair. He didn’t. He looked around but there was nobody there. A red light that read AUTO PILOT lit up the dash. The scratching sensation at the back of his throat returned and Barry let out another loud caught into the palm of his cupped right hand. As he pulled away, a pool of blood spilled from his hand and onto the blue carpet on the floor of the plane. Barry looked at his entire hand covered with blood as if he was wearing a crimson colored glove.

Barry quickly grabbed his throat as it began to tighten up and it felt like something was clawing to get out.

“Water!” He uttered as he ran from the captains quarters back into first class and to his seat in row L. He reached up and pressed the light gray button that opened the storage compartment where he placed his backpack that had a bottle of Dasani water in the side pocket. He could feel something scratching wanting out but didn’t want to believe it. Barry stood impatiently as the lid of the compartment slowly began to open. When the lid opened fully, there was a large rat staring back at him with its beady eyes. It growled at him. Barry leaped back and fell onto the lap of the woman whom asked him to leave due to his coughing. He looked up at her. Her head was drooping and there was a large softball sized hole in her throat. She began to vibrate. Barry looked up at the bare chest as it began to move. There was something moving around within her. It slowly began to rise up through the hole in her throat. One rat came followed a stampede of dozens more. Barry screamed and leaped to his feet. He fell onto the floor and crawled back to his seat. He could feel his throat start to expand as something was crawling up to get out. Barry opened his mouth and began to caught again as a rat slowly began to crawl its way out. He could its tail dangling in his throat as he closed his eyes and blacked out.

Well, I can see you didn't slow down and look this one over. Open Word. Run a find and replace "caught" with "cough". There are many words missed, and a lot of words repeated where they really are not needed.
The concept itself is interesting, this one needs a lot of editing.

eew eew eeew eeeew. And I mean that in the nicest way. Highly visual and creative horror here. You've taken rodents and airplanes to a new level of creepiness. Well done.

Strange it certainly is ... like a mystical identity with the prick ... that had not learnt to identify the body's organs and its own connection with the brain ... but it does feel the rush of blood at the suggestion ... that its all him. But like anyone who claims to be all ... it'll lead to the invasion of the rats. Stay with the brain ... Willard! ... I mean Will. Nice ...
