Everything Is Exactly What It Seems

The reflection of the moon on the water

Streams of lights scattered across the sky.

The sound of the obligatory silence.

The glow from the buzzing fireflies.

The post card perfect waterfall.

The gentle animals that walked around,

The way the plants talked to me

The way we huddled together on the ground.

If silence is created by an orchestra of trees.

Then what symphony created you and me?

The patience of mother nature.

The will to perfect all of her designs.

The way two things fall into place

The way two words seem to rhyme.

Two people stranded in a movie.

Lying in the warmth of a perfect scene

The questions of life were always hardest to answer.

But we finally figured out what it all means.

If silence is created by an orchestra of trees

The what symphony created you and me?

The plans destiny has for two lovers.

Two people forever intertwined.

The mystic of the horizon holds no limits.

For two people who's love is undefined.

So fall asleep underneath these branches

Let the moonlight lie on you as you dream

And do not fret about tomorrows troubles

Because everything is exactly what it seems.

What I love most about reading your poetry is that everything you write always ends up relating to everyday life. Like when I read this, it talks about nature and two people. "Because everything is exactly what it seems." When i read this I think about life. Life is exactly as it seems. Life is life. Nothing more to it. Love is love. same concept..... That is pretty much all i am have to say about this poem... i feel like my reviews help you none and I just ramble during this.... but that is what i am thinking when I rewad your poetry. haha :D
great job though!

I truly in every way love the depth and passion behind this! You have captivated me in this writing! I read many many writings and only comment on these that touch me...not too often. This one was perfect!
Also, I see my 18 year old daughter V.J.C. commented on your poem...that’s amazing too! She is hard to captivate!

Another well done piece from you. My mind was sated as I read on, for you connect words wonderfully. Thank you for this wonderful poem.

The 'pairs' that are endemic in nature, nicely put, and an interesting rhyme scheme. Just a point - 'what symphony created you and me?' - shouldn't that be 'what composer created you and me?' as a symphony is itself created. In the sixth stanza you're missing an 'n' in 'The(n) what symphony created you and me?
Well done.
