A Rhymer for Chad

A Rhymer for Chad

A Poem by Colette
"

(so he's not alone in feeling insignificant)

"

I feel like such a f**k up
no pattern, only a mock up
I feel like I merely exist...
Can't turn my life around with a twist

Some people have it so together
I can't find the way
Perpetual state of stormy weather...
I'm dying every day

Sick in my stomach
Pain in my mind
Can't get my luck up, or keep it up...
Always, I'm behind

I feel so insignificant
so utterly unmagnificent
so gray, rather than red...
so half dead

I'm going places
but going nowhere
I'd make a better w***e in laces
than a smart girl with no train fare...
a photographer of faces

It's not fair
and I don't dare
tell you my whole life story...
parts of it get too gory

I'm a throw away, physical decay
I'm a loser
a bruiser
a bleeder...
When it comes to love or money
my family said "We don't need her"
