We know this too well.

Click and Poke

Why does this seem

Like such a Joke

Day in and day out

we like and poke

This lovely lady

and this handsome bloke

The world has become

Virtual to us

hanging in our faces

like an oncoming bus

Social media

is for all to see

so what you post

is not hidden from me

Or is it hidden

Who can say?

Social media

is funny that way.

A livelier, more jovial poem, I think. What say you?

a near singsong cadence... you need be careful because even though simple - once you have established a rhythm it IS necessary to keep it throughout.

1 st stanza - "Like" though a good word - breaks the rhythm.
2 nd stanza - second "day" breaks the rhythm, "and" starting last line breaks the rhythm.

Read aloud again and feel the timing and flow... then continue the rest of the way down. Poetry is meant aloud, you have the tones and the cadence and the content worked too. Is a fun AND true piece.

Thank you, Brittany :)
That was a great way to describe TV and viewers. I thought it was fun to read because man is it true.

Yep, thanks Sue
LOL, you speak of the reality of how stupid humanity can and has become. Anyone can behind their facade. Respect for kicking out a poem with great flow and sincerity.

HEHE Jack, that made me laugh out loud :). I am glad you liked it.
Ha, the social media cracks me up sometimes my friend. The stories I read from Facebook and Twitter make me giggle so much! I don't have either of them but boy, I do love them.

Loved this too!
