ABSENCE

ABSENCE

A Poem by COLLYMORE
"

Absence spanned by the bridge of love is a great consolation in deed.

"

By Stanley Collymore

Absence makes the heart grow fonder they say;

but not having you near me each day is a

poor substitute in every way for not

being able to see you, touch you

or feel the comforting warmth of your soft, feminine

body next to me - while experiencing in full the true

joy of contentment I happily derive from living

a life blessed with the knowledge that you’re

Heaven sent; and no other woman but you

could have been half as successful in

making me so obviously happy,

as you can clearly see.
