A poem about connection

I never knew we were connected before

A chain that revolves around the world

Small fish, big pond

Big planet, small world

There you were all along

Less than six steps away

Day by day we're losing connection

Day by day we're ever more connected

There you were all along

Less than six steps away

But I didn't see you

All I saw was a five inch screen

Telling me that the world is smaller than I think
