Dreams

A Poem by Courtney

Dream haunt
Dreams taunt
They will torture you
They will be like a vulture coming at you
Coming to pick you dry
Of your sanity but never the lies
They remind you of a painful time
Your happiness pours out like red wine
Ready to be evaporated
Your eyes flutter open and it feels like the magic of a potion
The vulture gone, the memory gone you can almost swear your fine
Until your eyes close the memory doesn't go it comes and the pattern begins again
The torture never ends until the dream ends

Author's Note

Courtney
I kept having these creepy flash backs of when I lived in this old house build in the 1890's, in my dreams. It is pretty much torture. Lots of really weird and unexplained stuff occurred in that house. Anyway hope you like.

Thank you, I'm glad you liked it :)
You captured that haunted feeling. Just when you relaxed the dreams came again. Good write.
