What a simply delightful poem; full of imagery, energy, delicate wordplay, and creative structure. I am aware that the lily of the valley is also identified as the May lily. And, has been described as: "return to happiness" and most often symbolizes chastity, purity, happiness, luck, and humility. I can say from reading a few times, you have indeed encapsulated this in a framework of perfect prose – excellent ... :-)

oh I'm so sorry! :( thank you for being patient with me ... your response puts a whole new light in me noodle :} this must be around the time of your sister's passing ...is it? deep losses do remind us without us really even thinking about it .. a sadness settles and at some point its like "Oh yeah ...this is the month my love moved on :((( October is that month for me ... and her death was in '89 ... time has taken the edge off .. so the memories can turn to our good times ... love and peace ... hugs and comfort to ys
