Catching Modigliani

Catching Modigliani

A Poem by Corset

She rode the galaxy in his eyes
cold, black, and deep
glazed like forgotten coffee
sad and sweet
the vast unknown
twinkles in humor
whatever it takes to get you
here
where I've been too
catching blueberries riverside
and Modigliani
on my tongue.

I like the feel and the pull of this poem. It kind of holds you, like gravity and won't let you float away.

Thank you Willweb for your wonderful review, and to first to see that this one won't let go.
The vast unknown, that is what lies ahead when love is dying/dead. Forgotten coffee, cold and undrinkable. Great little poem. Says much in its brevity Corset.

might have to give that a try ;))

ok, if you manage to catch one you have to shout BLUEBERRY!
and that forgotten coffee has become so cold...even a microwave of affection might not warm it back up.
When love becomes that way...even adding a ton of sugar won't make it drinkable again.
I love this poem, simply love it.
