Midnight Agony

Midnight Agony

A Poem by Daniel Carlin
"

That feeling when you text someone and they don't text you back for 2 months and you can't sleep!

"

Can I reflect enough to describe myself?

I have met the female me,

That w***e b***h,

How dare you say the exact right words,

The words that make me think and feel of nothing but you,

Nothing but you and me.

A sudden realisation, I have been a s**t bag,

A flirt here and there,

Charming words spoken softly and innocently,

Have I made people lay awake at night,

Their hopes and dreams a lash on the back of their souls.

I lay awake cursing her silence.

How many curses have I gathered?

quite relatable, on the contrary i only compliment heavily those I adore, still it backfires when words are just words, and you never use action to prove it.
