A Toast To The Fallen

A Toast To The Fallen

A Poem by Re'al McNameson
"

A simple poem that I wrote to honor the dead.

"

One for the fallen and then one for I,

I count each day when I pass them by,

Until we meet again, far beyond the sky,

On that day when comes my time,

From the burn in each drink,

My mind is brought to think,

Of the times, I neared the brink,

Seeing the dead without a blink.

I knew that before too long,

I would join them in their song.

On this Earth I’m not for long,

With the dead I do belong.

Don't forget to "Like", "Comment", and "Follow". Hell, just say; "Hi". I have another blog, check it out

(Laughter/Storm, the humorous one)

(Emotions/Free, the dark, deep, introspective one)

Hi, my name is Re'al (pronounced "Ree-Al"). I write sometimes, and sometimes; I do not. These are examples of some of those times, at which I do. "Do" being short for "When I do write", but hopefully .. more..
