MUms The Word

A Poem by Tom Robert Cowpey

my mother told me
never judge a book by its cover
she taught me so much
and i guess thats why i love her
she's always worked hard
chasing sucess not money
brought me up with love
even when i'd spit the dummy
i remember all the late shifts
and the burnt fish fingers
if we could do it all again
i wouldn't wish it any different
i'd change a few things
but its to late to list them
thanks for looking after me
and sharing all your wisdom!!
