The insults and the clever quips

The insults and the clever quips

A Poem by MMC
"

Just a poem I made couple days ago.

"

The insults and the clever quips,
The hollow laugh that leaves these lips,
The sense of pride I fake all day
The self-certainty that I portray.
The apologies I never say
The 'witty' things that take all day
Just to think and say and write
The tears I cry ‘most every night
The pain I bury out of sight…
