She was used and abused
Now she is confused
Chris Brown is her boo
So what if she wants to skrew
What's that got to do with you?
She's got a thug life tattoo
Right on her knuckles
She's not a role model
Little girls shouldn't look up to her
She's not meant to save the world
Chris Brown made a mistake
When he hit her in the face
But she forgave
But he still lives with disgrace
Now they both misbehave
For a late night booty call
After she performs in concert halls
Nothing can stop them
So why do you want to prevent?
If they wanna get their freak on
They can't be stopped

She lets them use her as a toy
This is what she enjoys

Love this one, even pop singers have to own up to their mistakes and not expect someone else to make it all better for them. Rihanna is far from being a good role model that for sure, so I love this piece a lot!

But I can't stand her! I don't know her or really anything about her, but I can't figure out how anybody can stand to listen to her music. Her voice makes me cringe and want to scape my ear drums away. and smash things. especially the radio that she might be playing on. I don't know much about music, I just know what hurts me to hear and Rihanna does just that- her voice physically pains me.

I simply don't believe in role models. Kids don't care unless you make them care. The only role model I ever had in my life was a girl I went to school with who was a little older than me. She was a terrible role model of course, but my point is that I knew her personally. Girls don't emulate celebrities unless they have fucked up parents who put an emphasis on celebrities because they think it's cute. (This a topic I often bring my soapbox to) haha.

Nice poem. Sorry I get so sidetracked. I just can't figure out 1.why people do care about celebrities, 2.why Rihanna is famous/how anybody could stand to listen all the way through a song.

Good Job! I agree, none of these people are supposed to role models and that goes for athletes too! They get paid to be good at a sport, not for you to criticize their personal lives or to raise your children for you.

Rihanna is smoking f*****g hot. Every bit as much as Christina Aguilara was back in my Marine Corps days. We used to spend a lot of time arguing over who was the hottest celebrity and Christina was always in the top five along with Jessica Simpson, Ashlie Simpson, Jalo (the Latino and black guys were crazy for her) and Angelina Jolie. Arguing about hot chicks is a great Marine Corps Tradition and I'm sure Rihanna is on the short list with deployed platoons of horny Marines all over the Globe and as a Veteran of the Corps I'm pleased you wrote a poem siding with her instead of the haters.
