Ice Cream!

Ice cream makes me do random things...

Everybody knows that ice cream is the best.
It solves all misery!
I think we can agree that we all have a relationship with ice cream.
And it's a pretty good one of that.

It's in the fridge
In the grocery store
In Seven Eleven
And more.

It's always nearby when you need it.
Ice cream is our Best Friend .
So let's show them love by eating them.

Ice cream is cool and lazy,
Just like me.
If I gain weight it's not because of ice cream.
It's because of the couch and TV.

Ice cream will always fill your cup.
Literally!
Ice cream will always keep you happy.
Like a Wife with a rich hubby.

So don't blame ice cream for the next time you lose yourself
Ice cream will always be there...To pick you up

From the frozen ail, in the grocery store.

Hilarious somehow and entertaining. Ice cream is nice though I prefer cake and other baked stuff. ;)
Ok here comes the critique: It reads more like prose than a poem, a blog entry or alike on ice cream. Maybe you just have to read more poems to learn how to write in a more poetic manner, even though it's free verse, it does lack this certain kind of poetic expression. I hope you get to improve your writing style as you sound inspired enough to create amusing and interesting topics.

Done though very different from yours:

Ice cream. You crave for it tonight.
A TV date night. Cozy. Wrapped in blankets
eating ice cream. Spoon after spoon shoveled
into your mouth cheeks filling up with the chilled
substance.

Ice cream. I make you crave for it tonight.
A DVD eve. Comfy. Cuddles in wool
sucking water ice. Lick after lick let me help
you lick the runny sweet liquid dripping off your
pouted lips.
