Someday I'll be free

Someday I'll be free

A Poem by Sangeetha
"

It's an inspiration from the painting kristinas world. I was touched by its simplicity and silence and a sense of yearning that I was inspired to write this piece.

"
Someday I'll be free

There is a house so tall and gray
Somewhere in the distance far away.
I can see it from where I am.
In my mattress made of grass.

Someday I will be able to go
Someday I will be able to fly.
Into the voices in the clouds.
Away from my mattress made of grass.

The house is only a stones throw away
You can reach it the voices say.
Run to my arms in these gloomy skies.
Away from your chains of mattress grass.

One day I will be walking again.
Keep singing your song of coming rain.
I'll keep listening for the thunders you'll send.

To wash away my chains of mattress grass.
To be free to fly from this mattress grass.
To the end of lonely silence and into your arms.
