My Homeskillet

My Homeskillet

A Poem by Crystal Lynn
"

She's my best friend. Break her heart, and I'll break your face.

"

Why, hello there

Sweetheart

       Lover Boy

             Cutie Pie

That's my girl

       you've got there

Make her cry

       ...you die

For you see,

Darling

        Schnookms

               Baby Cakes

I loved her first

and a place in my heart

Will always be hers

She's waited so long for you

Dearest

         Pookie

                Honeybunch

So take care of her now

       if you don't want

To take your final bow

I prayed that she'd find you

Sugarcake

         Honey Bear

                  Diddykins

But treat her right

        that's my homeskillet

My bestie for life

I loved her first.

lol, how cute! There's a light hearted feel to the poem with an under tone of sarcasm... "hurt her and die" very cool way to get your point across.

Crafty and well written, capturing sweetheart antics, the title is old school
I liked that, the design is nice, this is beautifully done in a lighthearted way.

Nice read. Awesome adjectival touch, and unique expression.

I like it.

Good work.

Thank You.

As you probably know already (you clever girl), I don't really care for most poetry.

But this I rather like.
