Heaven's Golden Rose`

A short little poem about my grandma, who passed away in 2008 with cancer.

You were there holding my hand

Throughout my whole life

Whether in actuality or figuratively

Sometimes we didn't always agree

Sometimes we fought

But no matter what

I'll always love you

Even though you're not here

I can still feel you

You are in my heart, where you will stay

Here on earth your job was taking care of me

Now, in heaven you are tending to the gardens

None will ever be as beautiful as you

None will ever be as strong

Because you are Heaven's Golden Rose
