Fear of The End

Fear of The End

A Poem by CrimsonHints

~ Fear of the end ~

No devil in the flames or volcanic star implosion.
No shattering of bones or agressive mind corrosion.

~ Fear of the end ~

No demons in the pitch, no ghost songs in wells.
No hospital white, no stark screams from hell.

~ Fear of the end ~

No quickening heart or arteries fused.
No wooden caskets or drugs overused.

~ Fear of the end ~

No grey clouds twisting or lightning in sheets.
There's only oen thing I dare not to meet.

~ Fear of the end ~

This brightness so glaring, my face like the sun.
Joy; a treasure, the greatest of none.

~ Fear of the end ~

So long did I wait, perched on the abyss.
Yes, my happiness, is the one thing I'd miss.
