A poem written about my best friend who became my boyfriend. Turns out we are better as best friends though because we are not together now.

Fly With Me

 

Time goes by so quickly;

Days and months turn into years.

Still I can look over

And always see you right by my side.

The one person that I can always rely on,

My best friend and the one that I love.

I can always count on you

To brighten my day and lighten my life.

So now, even though so many years have passed

Our lives just keep getting closer together.

Yet there are still so many years ahead

That I know will just keep getting better.

Now, let me come and fly with you

Letting our hearts soar to new heights.
