What Life is

What Life is

A Poem by christopher fox

I wrote this last year on the back of a test in my world drama class after I had finished. September 12th 2014

Sitting alone
Playing in the
worried about ideas
I never wanted
 to start
I bounce a ball
but it doesnt
bounce back
lost in a fog
of my own traps
leaning on something
I've yet to see
I feel it with
my hands
just not enough to
answering questions
with my hand raised
no one asked
I'm not even on stage
I hear an applause
I'm patting my
own back
just hoping the
ball reverses its
makes the circle
I feel life is.
sitting alone...
what life is.
