Hi there, gang. After a little hiatus and rummaging through old writings, I'm back with some new material. As always, any feedback is welcome. And once again, thank you for reading.

Respiro Dolce

Often times when I say I miss you,

I take those words for granted

I don’t mean it half the time

What a heart

But with you

It’s different

Sweet air

How I missed you so

I needed you

I was on borrowed time

Watching this world pass by

Like Woody

I was sitting on the bench the whole time

But you were missing

Blank bodies passing by

Missing out on the world

It numbed me

But it reminds me

Sweet air

How I missed you so

That sensation of your scent

Gives me hope

Becomes my lifeline

The simplicities of this world come back

Because with you

You pull me away from the complications

And with you

I can breathe

When you find a person with whom you can be yourself without putting on masks, you have found love. You can breathe and the air is absolutely sweet. You can be free, without complications and stress. Great imagery in this emotive write. Lydi**
