Pon a spooky night

Pon a spooky night

A Poem by Wild Rose

P'on a spooky night - P'on a Spooky Road

Tis' said that in the year of Eighteen hundred and half past tea

On a cold dark and misty night

A carriage with four horses of revelers traveling to the local inn for a Guy Fawkes Night do

Did meet a flying spectre at this very corner

The horses spooked at the terrible flying vision

And galloped into the lake

Every one was drowned

No bodies or wreckage was ever found

Now on every dark misty night

The coach and horses passengers too

Travel along this road

To scare any person, horse whatever

And cause them in the lake to fall

And ride along with them

On every Dark and misty night

Whoooooooooooooooooo

A fine tale and one perfectly suitable for Halloween. Very Gothic and macabre and that accompanying picture is quite impressive. I like the font here, too. Suits the theme and old time setting very well. A good read! :)

This is great--I love spooky stories! I wonder... is there any truth to it? Oh, and the photo you used is perfect.
