She was like the first snowdrop of spring

The brightest flower in a bouquet

You could pick her out from a crowd

It was impossible to miss her

 

Her eyes met mine

I looked away

Embarrassed in case she was watching me

I looked back

 

She was till looking my way
Our eyes met

She smiled

I smiled back

 

I tried to get through to her

She had moved

Someone had taken her away

Where was she gone

 

I had to find her

Funny how life exposes those split seconds of connecting with another soul only for it all to disappear...well at the right time all shall be revealed 🌹

It was just after Chrismas
I woke up unable to move arms & legs
My immunity system had packed up
I was told not to allow any not family members into the house AND make a will
Peole were then locked down . everyone

It was during the lockdown she just stopped doing normal things

I called the doctors . HE GAVE HER SOME TABLET
SHE IS ALMOST NORMAL NOW but her short term memory is not working

Who took her away? kind of scary.... an interesting meeting of the faces and minds...until it ended sort of abruptly. Nicely written.

No one took her away
Jan 2020 I had my immunity system go wrong, I was told not to go out and to make a will.
Then shortly after, we were all locked down...
She sort od closed the doors to everything, all her hobbies, the cooking and shopping.
So I contacted the doctors. they had quite a few people the same.
Now in 2022 she is almost back to her old self, apart from a few moments, Her short term memory is absent, but she is taking the tablets without a lot of fuss.
Thing is to try to keep her on an even keel
