Moonlight Beauty

Moonlight Beauty

A Poem by Zanna Rose

Moonlit skin, pale beauty
Her tender eyes, lilac blue
always loving me.
I stare at her, my fingers
running along her sheer down strands.
Her eyes move in constant rhythm
with her sweet lullabies.

Her arms wrap around me.
tears spill from my eyes
She speaks in tones so soft, soothing me.
This ethereal being.
I know her love is always mine.
Comforting me of my follies
Knowing my internal spirit
She guides me.
As I grow, babe to adult
I forever know.
My Mother.
