Consumed.

Consumed.

A Poem by Melinda Weber

We stand underneath a night sky,

Sprinkled carelessly with twinkling stars,

As the husky breath of the winter fog

Rolls in softly, wrapping itself around us.

The sweet breath of a stolen kiss,

Exchanged between flirty whispered words,

Fluttering gracefully between heated sighs.

The moonlight kisses your face with mysterious shadows,

As the rhythm of your heartbeat

Flows through my delicate veins.

A brush of skin, as we passionately ignite

An illicit power play

My hopeless heart will always crave you.

Sigh.
D****t, you just made me make girly sounds. I'll need to go slap a policeman now to regain my machoness :-)
Beautifully written, sigh.
D****t, you done it again :-)

A beautiful and positive emotional ride in this poem. I like the desire and the description in this amazing poem. Thank you for the excellent poem.

As always, pleasingly romantic, with a blend of natural and emotional... 'an illiit power play'... seemed a bit clumsy somehow... not wuite the brush of the skin...
