Choices of Pain

When love goes wrong.

Feel the wind on my face, the cold sharp like knives.
The feeling so refreshing after so many lies.
I can't help but feel betrayed after so many years.
The love you put on parade came to nothing but tears.
We try again, for the sake of our child pure and true.
Yet there will always be something different about you.
I know here in my heart I will fail at love again.
Yet something else in my time will guide this anguished pen.
Should we continue this fascade? The end of our love so raw.
Or shall we act like nothing happened, never gazed into the maw.
Deceit, loneliness, fear. All will appear.
Ending my time in your heart, where I thought I wanted to be from the start.
Now my love ends in this lie. All chances doeth die.
