Her Kiss

Her Kiss

A Poem by Cynd3r M. Kat
"

That bitter feeling when your man leaves you for another woman.

"
When I looked into your eyes
I wished that you could see me
When I whispered to your heart
Did you hear everything we could be?

Reminiscing what I thought I had
Every moment I cherished as ours
The silken touch of your hands on me
Every embrace that lasted for hours

I denied my suspicion
I assured my uncertainty
I believed your smile
But I knew I trust my gut
I could taste her kiss on your lips
It wasn't fair to love me
'cause I could taste her kiss on your lips

As she lays in the bed that we warmed
Remember the nights you held me
I want to be happy for you
I want to hope she's what you need

I denied my fears
I assured my doubt
I believed in you
But I knew I trust my gut
I could feel her touch on your skin
It wasn't fair to love me
'cause I could taste her kiss on your lips

I hope you think of me
When you hold her in your arms
I hope you think of me
When you whisper our words in her ear
I hope you think of me
When you kiss her like I kissed you
I hope you think of me
I know you think of me

As I run my fingers through someone else's hair
I hope you feel it, I know you feel it
