CAMEO

CAMEO

A Poem by Cyndy Robinson

Wax dribbles
weeping splutter
drooling melted stem
singed in a flicker of flame
snuffed.

Shorn locks burned blonde
painted face in a pheromonic stride
pack animals eulogize fairy tales,
stalking
once upon...

Stripped
a picture in nestled breast
wakeless sleep smothered
a masterpiece of us
dripping ink waxy discharge
draping me, as the flag smothers you.
