Heart In Numbness

Heart In Numbness

A Poem by Cynthia Isaro

Enjoy :)

Drowning in emotions
Alienated and filled with anxiety
Over driven by these notions
Forever in search of intense ecstasy; Ecstasy that would take away all pain
And bring life to her aneamic eyes
All Attempts at life in vain
Her mind spieling the agonising cries

There is more to the witty frown
Than what the eye could meet
Beneath it she is being dragged down
Satan's acquisition,she accepts defeat
Misanthropy was an unkown feeling
Now it was all that made sense
Illusive pain brought internal bleeding Yet outside she masked with pretence

Her vulnerable anatomy
Roamed the surface of the earth
She had lost all good quality
Feeling of entity was dearth
Once being soulless was a fear
Now it was something she'd embrace
Everyday she'd shade a single tear
Regreting agreeing with fiend ingrace
