I AM LOVED

I AM LOVED

A Poem by DBURKE

Sultry silken expression

Glazed by pleasure

Enlightened by my companionship

Whoever will love me as I do?

A glance of satisfaction

A taste of fine wine

A dance in the morning sun

Who will entertain me as I do?

Passing by the mirror of truth

I stop,

I Stare,

I realize,

I am a phenomenal woman!

I am born

I have birthed

I live to live

Emptiness shall disappear

When I realize God loves me best

No other will love me so true!

The last stanza is so true. God loves us even with our deepest darkest secrets even with our biggest flaws. He still loves us even when we continue to mess up over and over again. The details in this poem are done so well.
