a drive down allesandro

a drive down allesandro

A Poem by Dionysus Cain

Floating in orbit

as these palm trees ,

just went by me

Green  leaves,

Diamond coated,

I could feel there

Grandeaur reflections

El Sol,

The Herald ,

Moreno Valley,

bares tree's that are dead from the outside

in

Appendages,

digested in the luxury of

bark

Stretching and moaning for gravity

The asphalt is a two headed  snake

liquifying

 down a hill

The horizon ,

with arms spread wide open

                                  is

         conscious

                                      &

                 aware

There is strong imagery created and the use of simple vocab is good, it feels pretentious

Excellent imagery!
And the comparison of the two worlds is metaphorically awesome.
I love your work!

Objects we take for granted on a daily basis personified. I do agree. The world is alive, my friend. Every single part of it. This was tight - your writing always is outside of the box.

Nice piece!

this is very thoughtful
I enjoyed it and it requires a lot more thought than
I have time to do it justice

You have a poet's eye, I believe. Observing the sublime and seeing more than others see. Nice work.

this is a great write. i felt like i was in the car with you, driving down this lonely stretch of highway. i love the lines "The horizon ,

with arms spread wide open". it always seems like the horizon is inviting us, opening its arms to us. the imagery is great, i love the idea of diamond-coated palm tree leaves & it makes me yearn for the coast again. simple, but a wonderful & inspiring write.
