I Am A Cat

I am a cat.

oh, what a life I lead!

I lay around all day

while they cater to my every need.

 

They don’t realize

how much work it is

to tell them what we want,

oh, what a life is this!

 

I am a cat.

Don’t call me lazy

just because I sleep.

It keeps me from going crazy!

 

I age much faster

than you humans ever will.

I try to stay graceful,

but remember I’m over the hill!

This is cute!! I like the structure and the flow. I know I can not write about animals but you did a great job writing about a cat.
