Friday ~ After Work ~ Andy's Tavern

Jack: “Do you ever experience Think-Link? It happens to me a lot.”

Jill laughs. “You mean, arranging my thoughts logically? Yeah, all the time.”

Jack mocks a frown. “Smartass. That’s not what I mean.”

Jill snickers. “I’m all ears, pal, Whaddaya mean?”

.  .  .

Jack:“At times I absentmindedly aim 'n press my remote and the TV doesn’t flick on ...then--”

Jill: “Then when you try again, this time thinking about it, It flicks on. Yes!”

Jack’s jaw drops. “That happens to you too!”

Jill: “Yeah! I thought it was just me! It’s kinda like Drop-Lost, only different.”

.   .   .

Jack: “Drop lost? What’s that? Stock-trading lingo? Like selling short?”

Jill: “No, it’s like I’ll drop an earring or some little thing on the floor, and then--”

Jack: “Then you look down to get it, and it’s not there! You find it someplace else, where--”

Jill: "Where it can't possibly be, like several feet away, behind a chair!"

.   .   .

… Ever happen to you ???
