Weathering Together

Weathering Together

A Poem by Sarah Jane

When it rains we all feel the moisture. We gather our umbrellas and boots for the puddles. We stare out our windows and search for some sun. The clouds hang grey over everyone at some point. If one person gets caught unexpectedly, we can sympathize because we've all been drenched. But I can feel sorry without belittling my own run in with weather. As should you, because even if the rain seems to fall on just one person remember that mother nature has no discrepancies on who she surrounds. The sky does not weep in a stream but in a blanket and we all feel the gloom of overcast clouds. All we can do is hand our friends towels and some dry clothes and keep around people that would do the same for us.
