Watching you...

Watching you...

A Poem by Dad Dragonfire
"

This poem is for my daughter, Jessica.

"

Sitting on your little chair I watch you...

your mouth tightly closed,

the tip of your tongue

escaping through your lips

to one side...

Concentrating you don't see,

you don't hear

what's around...

I sit by your side on the floor

to look at your work,

silent, not to disturb

your line of thoughts,

your "little genius"  inspiration...

Your creative mind

that amazes me

with every step.

I watch you every day...

You grow, you learn, you play...

Pride fills my heart,

my soul,

for you, my little girl.

About
Love to read and love to write... yeah I know, doesn't tell much about me. I always find it hard to "tell about myself" when filling up a profile. I'll put a better "About Me" together and come back a.. more..
