Roads and paths

Life is a journey, even when we stand still

Roads and paths intersect

Meetings and partings in us can instill

Circumspect and introspect

There's no way to predict tomorrow

Where I'll end up, where the road would lead

Where yours would take you in your time of need

If we'll part wherever we go

Our paths intersected and we blended in time

Won't regret our moments back then

For in them there was experience sublime

 And it was timeless, but then

Time never stands still and neither should we

Except for those moments to appreciate

The perfection of the chemistry

And how in our experience we best relate

So travel on adventurous soul as

In my heart, the memories  last

And I will seek my own solace

Face to the future, back to the past

A beautiful poetic writing of having, enjoying the moment and knowing when to let go. Your poetic pen did you well with this "gentle" writing of emotions. "Face to the future, back to the past." beautifully written. yes, sometimes we do take different paths than loved ones. & tho its sad, sometimes its just better to let them go their way & you go yours. a brilliant & sad but honest write.
