This is very touching...the muse who is every present in your mind, but perhaps not at your side. I can relate to the emotions in this, and when I read it aloud, I could easily imagine it as a song. The idea of "falling" for someone has always been interesting to me, as the idea of "falling" denotes something painful or perhaps uncomfortable (at least at first), and yet that is how we describe the evocation of love. Just a little thought of mine...

Anyway, I think this was nicely done. One suggestion for flow: 2nd stanza, last line "...you gave (to) me"

I see what you're saying on the pre-chorus stanza, but "words you gave me" is the way I intended it. The flow would make more sense if you could hear the melody of how that line is sung.
