The Pursuit of Happiness (Poem)

The Pursuit of Happiness (Poem)

A Poem by Damien Davison
"

Seeking the answers to questions that don't matter...

"
The ropes fray
Grab on to your life before it falls
Your mind can not hold the weight
Reach now
Don't lose it all

Seeking the answers
To questions that don't matter
Twisting the meaning of life
'Till your dreams shatter

Snap out of wanting to be
And just be yourself
Future and past don't last
Climb in to now
You fell

Blazing the sky
Fantasize about potential
Limitless high
Realize that you can't let you
Be what they want
Just a sheep in the herd
Now consider our past
As a lesson learned

Because happy is only a study of late
We didn't know how
But lets now change our fate.
