ReflectionA Poem by Daniel GardnerThought of this while staring at myself in the mirror.

To see different light
Would be alright
You chance your stance Then Take a second glance You smile a big smile To gaze at your teeth for a while A frown creeps across Has you compare yourself to the saddest clown Unable to see Scares That are skin deep Your appearance you hate For this you don't eat great You vomit to stay cool But you fail to see the true fool You need to relax You need not to wax For you are you You do things no one else can do But you complain about not being six foot two You need to believe in yourself God knows I do No one else should matter Except the person that is you. © 2010 Daniel GardnerAuthor's Note
