A Poem by Daniel Gardner
"

My worst enemy

"

This is my story

A balled of types to sing through the ages

Of a trial that is unmatched

I have been to the depths of hell

Only to rise to the gates of heaven

I have been with many women

Yet I never been satisfied

I have slain dragons

Freed towns

Worn many different crowns

Never have I been happy

Never have I felt alive

It has taken ages

I can finally see my fate

I will over throw my greatest foe

A being that has appeared

In a mirror as of late.

Sometime the person in the mirror is hard to overcome. Some problems we learn to live with. Everyday I remember four dead brothers and friends killed in war I don't understand. You have many demons and battles to overcome. I hope you can find hope in life and family. If you fall down. Who will hold the family together? I learn to live with the sadness. Taught me to love the people around me. A powerful poem. Thank you.

interesting piece...sometimes we are our own enemies...

I think you made a typo, you wrote: "I will over through my greatest foe" did you mean "I will overthrow my greatest foe" ?
